KICKS, KICKS, KICKS

A clean new silhouette is coming from Fred Perry next season - the Byron Mid. Taking its fair share of inspiration from the likes of Pointer, the Byron Mid has a slim Chukka silhouette and an all suede upper. It comes in blue and light grey and features a subtle Fred Perry logo embroidered on the heel. Via Sneaker Freaker.

After giving you a first look at the Vans Japan “Animal Series” a while back, we can show you today the Sk8 Hi’s and Slip-Ons coming with Leopard and Zebra patterns on the upper. All sneakers come with a faux fur upper and an animal pattern all over.

As the numerically named Air Jordans draws to a close in 2008 with the XX3, starting in 2009, the Air Jordan naming scheme follows a different route referencing the release year. A preview into the Air Jordan 2009 can be seen here. The shoe features all the elements of design you would come to associate with the Air Jordan with numerous details and touches, effectively making it a bootleggers nightmare. Little performance information is known however a release date is set for Saturday, February 14th, 2009.

Taking the iconic Nike Dunk as their platform, the Nike Mad Jibe takes a decidedly more sophisticated approach with its re-mixed upper. The usual Swoosh markings of previous releases are done away, in return comes a debossed Nike logo with all the familiar boat shoe fixings such as leather laces and moc style toeboxes in a muted grey and vibrant green color scheme.
