Well, I remember when I was back home this summer, I came across this and I just remembered it today so I thougth I should just post it for those who don't know. I don't know what's the situation like in Zimbabwe right now, but at that time, it was crazy. This bill was issued on 19/01/2008 and at this time, Zimbabwe faced the world's highest official inflation of an estimated 25,000% but independent financial institutions said that the real inflation was closer to 150,000%. Anyways, last time i checked, Canada's inflation was at 3%. Do the math.
Pay this much for a loaf of bread.
