What it look like family? Just when you thought I was gone, BANG! I'm fucking around, how ya'll been though? Man, I've had the longest day ever, and I'm still not home yet. I'm in Brooklyn chilling with my peeps in their studio. I like coming here for inspiration. The vibe is dope. PLUS, there's another reason I came here...(drum rolls please.....) Your boy is most likely going to be interning with 10 Deep clothing soon. Yeah, I just came from a mini interview with them. I don't know how many of ya'll are familiar with 10 Deep but these dudes makes the illest underground gear. If you haven't heard of them, I suggest you check them out, STUPID. Here is their website. They also have a heavy rotation on Karmaloop.com. Actually, Karmaloop is where I first heard about them. They've been around, kicking ass sinc3 1995 - they're something like veterans in this street-wear game.



How did I get the internship you ask? Well, I had visited their office in Brooklyn about 3 months ago, chopped it up with one of their account managers, told him about myself and my internship at Complex Magazine. Dude was cool, he took my resume. But I never heard back from them until last week. I had even forgotten about them to be honest. But they seemed interested in the kid and I'm knowledgeable about their brand and philosophy. I'll be helping out with their marketing department, kinda like what I'm doing at Complex. But I won't be limited to just marketing, my hands will be all over the place. I will also be doing a lot of social networking for them. Facebook, blogging, twitter. They are in the process of re-launching their website - I'll need to help them with that.

I don't know how I'm going to handle two internships and a part-time job but I will. I owe it to myself to push harder than I already am. This is a great opportunity. And until I can find a better paying job or get into Grad School, I don't see why I shouldn't take this opportunity. So yeah, your boy will be with the 10 Deep family too. Hold that!

In other news today.....actually, I don't have any other news. I'm hella tired and I need to head back home and chill out a bit. But before I leave, I want to piggy back off what my brother Losi asked the ladies, "Do ya'll love blogging?" Do ya'll love the shit we post up? If so, comment, let us know. Blow us kisses. XOXOXOX. The film centers on a group of London Skinheads hanging in England during the 1960s. It was a time when this particular subculture didn’t bother with politics and race but more fixated themselves on the unisex fashion, music, and lifestyle-alternate to the popular Mod trend. Deviating from the norm and portraying this rebellious attitude, the Skinheads represented a time of change much like the shaven-headed beauty, Amber Rose.

Earthlings, how is the view from down there? LOL. I kid. I'm back with your weekly message. I had actually forgot about this today but Losi reminded me. I really have nothing MAJOR to talk about today but I'm going to keep typing until something comes up. As expected, I'm nursing a hangover, so I cracked open a beer to kill the buzz. I don't set a very good example, I know. I hope my mother doesn't read this. SMH.

Ok, Im back. I actually wrote the above paragraph last night. I'm at the office typing this. Tired as hell, hungover as hell but work is work. I went to a South African wine bar last night. Great place, I like its vibe. If you're in NYC I suggest you check it out on Sundays. It's called 'Xai Xai'. It's on 51st street and 9th avenue.

I apologize if I'm not coherent, I'm tired as a muh fucka and my day just started. It's also the first of the month which means rent and other bills are due. Your boy has to get on his tippy toes.

I'm trying to remember what I did last week. I don't think it was as eventful as the week before that. Pretty normal stuff. Mundane shit. BUT, I WILL be taping another episode for Dru York TV tonight. I was having a hard time coming up with something to talk about but I was thinking about it last night and I think I have something. I'll basically give people access to my blog. What I mean about that is if you have a talent, a craft or do anything unique, I will feature you on my blog. All you need to do is e-mail me a bio about yourself and your work and I'll put it up there. I've come to realize that I know a lot of people who are gifted or talented but the world doesn't know about them yet so I want to use my blog and social networks as a way to promote them. Pro Bono - until they become millionaires, then I will demand my cut. Hehehe. "Pro Bono," I've always wanted to use that phrase. BANG! LOL.

Ok, I need to get to work, time to open my mind up. Until later, GRIND.
