WORLD RECORD HOUSE OF CARDS

American architect Bryan Berg has succeeded himself as the world record holder in number of cards stacked. Bryan Berg used 218,792 cards(4,051 decks) to create a replica of the Venetian Macau with no glue or other aids to hold them together. Berg took 44 days to complete his model inside the Venetian, which sits at the heart of Macau's Cotai Strip, the China-ruled city's version of Las Vegas' neon alley. The hotel replica stands almost ten feet tall and is 33 feet long! Cool!

'This has been the most ambitious project I have undertaken to date,’ Berg said.
‘It’s really like a real construction project because you have to engineer every single adjacency and every support that’s supporting everything above,’ he added.

‘I was inspired to stack cards by my card-playing grandfather; maybe I can inspire some visitors at The Venetian Macao to try their hand at building their own structures.
‘There couldn’t be a more fitting place to build the world’s largest house of cards than at the world’s largest resort hotel,” he added.

GOOD WOOD "BLACK JESUS PIECE"

Wuss good martians? So, I found this piece and the news behind it last monday, I think, and I was excited because I've always wanted something like this. I am all about crosses and I rock them all the time and I got one that I rock everyday, religiously, moms gave it to me. Anyways, when I saw Good Wood was releasing this, I was thankful and excited at the same time. Went through ups and downs to get my piece, and I got it at the end of the day. Originally, I wanted two pieces but the online store only accepts paypal and i didn't have an account, anyways, managed to get one through my boy Dj Freaky Fred, shout outs to Fred.


Today, I hit up one of my favourite blogs, Kanye's blog and he's actually discouraging people from purchasing the black jesus piece. Now, with all due respect, I'm a huge fan of Kanye's and if you've ever been to my blog, you'd see that I never post anything negative about anything or anyone, dats not my lane. With that being said, I think it's wrong for Kanye to discourage people from purchasing something that is creative, dope and for others, a resemblance of christ which holds the same value as a cross. Jesus pieces are not trademarked, copyrighted or patented by anyone, therefore, trying to discourage people from buying a product that is provided by ambitious people that are not discrediting Kanye in any kind of way, but just trying to create something people love, want and respect, is wrong. We don't need anyone to tell us what to buy or not to buy, especially if the product is not fraudulent. We all can't afford expensive black diamond Jesus pieces and if this is our way of holding and owning a similar product, we do have the right to do so. Just to let y'all know, this piece created a huge buzz and it was a successful sell.


Anyways, there are more pieces dropping soon, different colours and I want y'all to know that I'm going to be copping two of each every time they drop.
