The Braille phone using Electric Active Plastic fabricates Braille code on the screen of the phone provides Braille information on the screen so that visually impaired people can read them by touch it. Today AT&T* and Nokia today announced the Nokia Surge. It is a Symbian S60 base smartphone with a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard. It features include a 2.0 megapixel camera, AT&T Navigator, AT&T Mobile Music and AT&T Video Share and JuiceCaster. Available online and in AT&T stores on July 19 for $79.99 with a two-year service agreement after rebate.

Orange has announced its plans to offer LG’s GD910 touchscreen watch phone in UK stores this August. Available from Orange for a limited time period, the Watch Phone will be available at an exclusive price point on Orange pay as you go. A Chinese company has showed the world's first mobile phone at the Computex exhibition in Taipei on Friday. The phone called xpPhone, as its name, which runs the Windows XP system! The device has a pull-out QWERTY keypad, a 4.8 inch LCD touchscreen(800x480) and a 120GB hard disk. The xpPhone can wake up from the standby mode to receive calls and text messages. It has a battery life of seven hours when not in standby mode. It weighs 400 grams and is 2.5 centimeters thick. Other features include Wi-Fi, optional WiMax, GPS and next-generation mobile.
